This is our last week to participate in Kellogg's Feeding Reading program. With the purchase of each qualified product, Rotarians and friends can obtain a free children's book to be donated to a local family shelters. The comfort of reading a favorite or new book is an ages old tradition that can set a child on the road to life long learning. Books are a luxury, even more so during this time when libraries are stretched and not operating at full capacity. Many of our members have this project serving double duty as they donate the food products to our local Food Pantry and the books to a shelter.The deadline for purchasing a qualified product is 9/30 and books can be selected through October.
