Consistent with the Town of Brookline's and Rotary's commitment to minimize our negative impact on the planet, Brookline Rotary has created the following policies to guide our actions for all meetings and events:
- Avoid the use and sale of single use water bottles
- Use compostable products or reusable china/glass/ flatware when serving food
- Separate trash, recyclables and reusables at clean-up
- Minimize the amount of paper used
- Ensure that all necessary print materials are on recyclable paper
- Use QR codes, whenever possible, referring people to electronic information instead of print material
